Jesse is a self-taught chef who has always embraced the industry with passion. His early experiences include the Saticoy Country Club; moving up to become the main cook at Uncle Herbs Restaurant in Oxnard, CA for over 15 years and from there, his exemplary cooking skills took him up to the next level in his career as Executive Chef at the Moorpark Country Club. In addition to his own endeavors, Jesse has also used his knowledge and ideas to inspire other local restaurant entrepreneurs to establish their own restaurants and begin their own ventures.
As a chef, Jesse has always aspired to take charge of his own creations. He brings with him a fresh and exciting blend of culinary delights. By mixing the traditional breakfast and lunch style menus with an array of Pacific Islander tastes and a splash of Spanish dishes with his own flare of flavors, Jesse has created a cuisine to please everyone.
Jesse is known for his unusual style and approach of coming out of his kitchen and personally talking to his customers and making sure they are enjoying their meals and everything is satisfactory. His welcoming smile and friendly manner is extended to everyone. Jesse makes sure the food is always great and the atmosphere is always friendly.
Jesse’s dream and utmost desire has always been to be running a kitchen of his very own someday. He never let that dream die and now his dream has become reality. Surrounded by his family and friends, you can find Jesse happily stirring his own pot in his own kitchen in a quaint little spot called the Hidden Café, located at the foothill of the Conejo Grade in Camarillo, CA
